Early access

Club registration and team management, in one list.

For local clubs and leagues that collect fees, waivers and volunteers every season. The Teams edition is in early access, with the first clubs setting up this winter.

The season starts with forms, fees and a lot of chasing.

Registration is a form. Fees arrive by e-transfer, cash at practice and the odd cheque. Waivers are paper, or a PDF someone emailed back. The roster is a spreadsheet, the schedule is in a group chat, and the snack rota is a sign-up sheet that half the parents never saw.

PartOf puts that into one list. A player registers once, the fee lands in your club's Stripe account, the waiver is signed on a phone and kept with the player, and the same list drives rosters, events and volunteer duties.

What's ready, and what's coming.

We'd rather be clear than impressive. "Running now" means it's in daily use at a Calgary association or school. "In early access" means we're building it with our first clubs.

Registration Running now

Online sign-up for each season or program, with discounts, a waitlist when spots fill, and refunds in the same place.

Season fees Running now

Card payments into your club's own Stripe account. PartOf takes 0%. Record cash and cheques by hand so the list stays complete.

Waivers Running now

Signed on a phone at registration or before an event, and stored with the player.

Volunteer duties Running now

Shifts for every game, tournament and fundraiser, with an hours ledger that counts itself.

Events and check-in Running now

Year-end parties, tryout days and fundraisers with RSVPs, tickets and a scan at the door.

Rosters and schedules In early access

Teams built from the registration list, game and practice schedules, and who's coming Saturday.

When a free team app is enough, and when it isn't.

Free apps such as Spond, TeamLinkt and TeamSnap's free tier are good at what they do: schedules, availability and chat for a team. Most of them earn their money from payment processing fees or paid add-ons, which is a fair model.

Where clubs get stuck is everything around the team: a board that needs to know who has paid, a treasurer reconciling fees, a registrar finding last year's waiver, and volunteer duties spread across a dozen teams. That's the part PartOf is built for, because it's what we already run for associations and schools.

If your club runs through a community association, the association's PartOf can handle the house league too. See PartOf for community associations.

Questions boards ask us.

Is the Teams edition ready?

Partly, and we'd rather say so plainly. Registration, payments, waivers, events and volunteer sign-ups already run in production for a Calgary community association and a Saturday school. Team-specific screens (rosters, schedules and availability) are being built with our early-access clubs now. We set early-access clubs up by hand.

There are free team apps. Why would we pay?

If you only need a schedule and a chat for one team, a free app may be the right choice, and we'll tell you so. PartOf is for clubs where the hard part is the admin: registrations, fees you want in your own bank account without a per-player cut, signed waivers you can find later, and volunteer duties across many teams.

What does it cost?

Clubs in early access are on the Community plan, $990 a year, with 0% taken from your fees. Setup is $1,500 once and includes moving your players over. We'll confirm the club price with you before you commit.

Do you replace our provincial or national registry?

No. If your players must register with a governing body, keep doing that. PartOf can store their registry numbers on the player record, so you have them in one place.

Can parents sign waivers on a phone?

Yes. Waivers are signed on a phone during registration or before an event, and the signed copy stays with the player's record.

Which team are you part of?

Early-access clubs get set up by hand and help decide what we build next. Tell us about your club.
